Another year come and gone. We have seen some beautiful days and some hard times befall us all. With the struggling economy, devastating housing foreclosures, and jobs lost, we are forced to look at and cherish the things that mean the most to us: health, family, and friends. Mom and I are fortunate enough to have all three of these.
Today at work, we groomed: Wolfgang - an adorable Shih Tzu Bichon mix,  our old friend Chip, and a couple of Golden Retrievers - Mason and Zach. All beautiful dogs who are full of laughter. Their mom told us that Mason has come upon some health issues that have been,so far, undiagnosed. The veterinary team at the U of M has been working on trying to figure it out to no avail. Possible cancer or autoimmune disease lurk in a grim future. With tears in my mom's eyes, I watch her groom him and at every available opportunity Mason licks her face as if to say everything will be alright. We will pray for him and his family.

We would like to thank all  of our dear friends, old and new,who put their  trust in us to take care of their beloved pets. You mean the world to us. Without your love our lives would be considerably less full!

Your friends and family at Dreadlocks for Dingoes wish you the best for the coming year 2010.
Have a Happy and Healthy New Year,
Lisa and Cyrus

  1. Lisa & Cyrus,

This is Mason & Zach's mom, just wanting to say thank you! As you know, I was hesitant to leave Zach b/c he is skittish, and Mason b/c he has been sick, but I am heartened to know that both did well with you, and that you cared for them as if they were your own. We will certainly let you know once we have a prognosis for Mason, and hope to use your services for many years to come. Happy New Year!
